Are You Preparing for the Ride for the Heroes?

Torie Giffin: Director of Community Relations - Chick-fil-A

The Saturday Fitness/Training Rides, which meet at 7:45am from May 2 through September 5 at the Chick-fil-A Garden of the Gods location, are open to all.  The rides will be organized into four different pace groups including Family-friendly, Intermediate short, Intermediate long and a Fast ride group.  All rides have a lead, post and sweep, with exception of our fast group which is a show and go type of ride.  If you are registered for the Walk, Run & Ride for Heroes, you can also get a Free Breakfast Entree after the Saturday rides. And, for CSCC members, these rides count towards Club miles.  Experienced ride leaders, posts and sweeps to volunteer for our Saturday Rides are welcomed.
We are proud to partner with the Colorado Springs Cycling Club to provide Course Marshalls for this year's Ride for Heroes.  As part of the partnership,  Chick-fil-A is helping feed Club members at our monthly Club meetings.
You can register to participate or volunteer for the Ride for Heroes at the Patriots Festival website.
